A further hundred yards along the trail is the area I call 'The Valley'. I name it that as this place seems to be the lowest point in the loop. Hereafter you begin a gentle rise to the next section, a ridge which parallels Clayton Road.

The view to the Southwest includes a farmhouse and barn, plus Prairie-like views to the North.
